The questions we get most
Straight answers, no padding. If yours is not here, message us on WhatsApp and we will answer it.
Is the course in English or Arabic?
Both exist, as two separate courses.
The English course is delivered fully in English. The Arabic course is explained in Arabic while keeping every technical term in English — because the final assessment interview is conducted in English, so you stay fluent in the vocabulary the assessor will use.
How many hours of content does the course contain?
Over 50 hours of recorded video, split into 1,267 lessons across 20 chapters.
Each lesson runs two to eight minutes. That is deliberate: a working professional rarely has two free hours, but can almost always finish a lesson or two in a day.
Which RICS pathway does the course cover?
The Quantity Surveying and Construction pathway.
It covers 19 competencies: the eleven mandatory ones, the core technical competencies, and Programming and planning from the optional list — the full list with levels is here.
What is the difference between the three packages?
Foundation — $499: the full content for self-paced study. Suited to candidates who want the knowledge only, or who already have a counsellor reviewing their work.
Submission — $1,299: the same content, plus one complete review of your submission before it goes to RICS.
Full Journey — $1,999: step-by-step guidance from start to finish, with weekly one-to-one sessions booked from the portal, plus WhatsApp and call access.
Is there a free trial before buying?
Yes. You can take the full Procurement and Tendering competency — lectures, written material, references and attachments, with access to the study platform.
Request it via WhatsApp or direct message.
Can I get a refund if the course is not right for me?
Yes. All three packages carry a 30-day no-questions-asked refund guarantee.
All three also include lifetime access to the content.
Is the course accredited by RICS?
No. LeAlmond is an independent training provider, and is neither accredited by nor affiliated with RICS.
APC enrolment, fees and the final assessment are handled directly with RICS. The course prepares you for the assessment; it is not part of it. We state that plainly so there is no room for misunderstanding.
How long does it take to reach MRICS?
It varies substantially with your entry route and its structured training requirements, and with the submission and assessment windows published for your region.
We do not publish a single number, because no single number is accurate for every case. Working out your real timeline is part of the guidance in the Full Journey package.
Is there a question bank for interview preparation?
Yes — roughly 4,352 questions.
You can filter by competency, level (1, 2 or 3), difficulty and review status, so you spend your time on what is still weak.
How do I enrol and pay?
Foundation is bought directly on the site in a single payment.
Submission and Full Journey are arranged via WhatsApp or LinkedIn, and both offer instalments: three monthly payments for Submission, four for Full Journey.
Who teaches the course?
Khalil Abbad — MRICS since 31 October 2025, a registered RICS APC Counsellor since December 2025, based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Over 15 years in commercial, cost and contract management on major Gulf projects — full background here.
